General Augmented Hospital

For the first time, NSW Health and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital have appointed a contemporary digital artist to create a large-scale augmented installation inside the hospital and its surroundings. From 1 to 30 March 2022, Sydney Local Health District commissioned the New Zealand artist Charles Clapshaw to create an Augmented Reality installation based around the RPA in Camperdown, Sydney, Australia.  The purpose of the installation, entitled “General Augmented Mischievousness” is to address the question – how can we maximise the potential of art in hospitals?
